Ellen and Toni with their rider, Jessica Crosby travelled to Spain for the October 2016 Oliva Nova Met tour. The Marinas-Whitaker team have been on fire over there winning multiple young horse classes and ranking classes.
The 5 year old Locarno bred Lenardo has won two out of four of the 5 year old championships and was placed in the other two. Meanwhile Arena UK Winston, Shearwater Fleur, Virginia, Diamondula and Kings Hill Cavalier have all been posting plenty of placings in the international with Shearwater Fleur winning two classes to date.
Cash and Go ridden by Toni has featured in the line-up of the Sunday Grand Prix and is on exceptional form. Ellen and Toni have produced and sold the fantastic 6 year old Cartograph, to the Ashford Farm. This is definitely a horse to keep an eye on! Toni is continually consistent in the young horse classes, campaigning Faya Sao Migeul in the 6 years and Morning Dam in the 5 years.
Also this autumn brought the departure of Arena UK Galway Luibanta, now known on American turf as Luibanta BH. Ellen sold this mare to English rider Amanda Derbyshire who is currently based in the states managing the Gochman stables.
